Justification:
Livy Book X 5.1 (Penguin Classics Rome and Italy), for
302BC:
"the enemy(the Etruscans) retreated to their camp in disorder, and as the Roman standard bearers bore in on them, they gave way and huddled into the furthest corners at the gates, and large numbers climbed the earth rampart and palisade to see if they could either defend themselves .... it happened that in one place the rampart had been badly pressed down, so that it collapsed into the trench with the weight of those standing in it."
